The Coolest Art Show… is the kickoff to the Art Cartel’s 2010 season. This show will feature 20+ artists and a handful of musicians that have been selected to exhibit their talents at one of the most unique spaces in New Albany, The Art Store.
The exhibit will be held on Saturday, February 27th from 2pm to 12am, music starts at 7pm, and the space is located at 205 E. Market St. New Albany, In.
The Coolest Art Show…will also be the starting point for the New Albany Polar Walk that will meander it’s way through the streets to the local eateries and your favorite watering holes of downtown. Registration starts at 11am.
So don’t miss what is sure to be the Coolest night in town!!!
The Art Cartel would like to thank everyone who participated in the “Dreams. A Journey Within.” extravaganza. It was truly amazing to be surrounded by so many talented artist, musicians, performers, and human beings. We took many pictures of the event and some video and we’re in the process of sifting through them so we can post them on our site and myspace. They use only the freshest ingredients, the zestiest spices, and is faithful to the recipes learned back in Grand Coteau, Louisiana. If you’ve been dreaming of cajun food come out and give it a taste!
Darshwood the Conjurer will be performing for those in attendance at the “Dreams. A Journey Within” extravaganza. Come and be dazzled by his sleight of hand!
Darshwood is also scheduled to perform at the Battle of the Hands: a competition for magician’s at Comedy Caravan on Monday, June 29th! He will also be producing his own full evening show at Derby City Espresso on Sunday, July 26th called Postmodern Magic.
The Art Cartel will be serving some of the BBC’s finest brews at the upcoming event. Come on out and have a taste!
Jing Masters will be bringing their superfood-tonic-herb elixir bar to you at the “Dreams: A Journey Within” extravaganza on Saturday, June 27th.

Basically it’s like a smoothie bar, except that they only use the most powerful nutrient dense superfoods and the most elite tonic herbs.
