The Coolest Art Show… is the kickoff to the Art Cartel’s 2010 season. This show will feature 20+ artists and a handful of musicians that have been selected to exhibit their talents at one of the most unique spaces in New Albany, The Art Store. The exhibit will be held on Saturday, February 27th from 2pm to 12am, music starts at 7pm, and the space is located at 205 E. Market St. New Albany, In. The Coolest Art Show…will also be the starting point for the New Albany Polar Walk that will meander it’s way through the streets to the local eateries and your favorite watering holes of downtown. Registration starts at 11am. So don’t miss what is sure to be the Coolest night in town!!!

This is a one day group art show, anything goes format….we’ve already received entries from California, Oregon, Ohio, Indiana, Georgia, Tennessee, Michigan…..!
There will be supporting musical acts from Louisville, KY and the surrounding area from the likes of Teneia Sanders, Alanna Fugate, Swamp Funk Society, National Hotel & many other talented musicians. You can also expect a plethora of performing arts throughout the night as well as a public art wall & artists painting on sight!
To please your palate there will also be food & beverages from local businesses to indulge in throughout the evening.
The show will be held in an old ice factory that is being renovated into lofts on Main St. in downtown Louisville. A portion of the proceeds generated from the “Dreams: A Journey Within” extravaganza will be donated to the Fund for the Arts.
