Damon Thompson lives and works in Louisville, Kentucky. 
He has taken courses in art at the Art Institute of Atlanta, Indiana University, Jefferson Community College, and University of Louisville. A passion for studying art has taken him through the United States, as well as Spain and Italy. These solo trips were spent in Museums and galleries filling 
sketchbooks with renderings of master works, and taking notes on the ideas and motivations behind the art. It is this habit that shows through in 
the technically adept work of Damon Thompson, strong in vision and 
in execution.
