Wilfred Sieg III is steadily becoming recognized as an eclectic visionary artist.  His surrealist paintings and sculpture display originality and depth that captivate viewers bringing an eloquent appearance of light to darkness.  Wilfred’s art is beautifully flowing and subliminal with a subjective dreamlike quality.  His artistic expression illustrates an unordinary complex foresight which strikes emotional chords and fulfills the viewer’s subconscious imagination. Wilfred began creating art at a very young age.  When he was 17 years old he was in a devastating automobile accident which caused major nerve damage rendering him unable to use his left arm.  Rather than succumbing to his loss, Wilfred chose art as a means of healing and self expression.  For the past twelve years he has created and established a widely diverse collection of multimedia consisting of paintings, video, sculpture, graphic design, and photography.  Upon his first art show, Wilfred sold nearly every one of his paintings with the small exception of pieces belonging to his private collection. Wilfred opened The Siegenheim Gallery after moving to Louisville six years ago. He hosted bimonthly art shows which featured local artists and musicians bringing the community together to raise local consciousness on matters which unravel dreams and reveal the splendor of true ambition and excellence.  In the future Wilfred plans to evolve his gallery into a museum which will house his abundant private collection of life works.
