“An energetic blend of psychedelic soul, Brother Wolves provides a sonic experience that embraces the falls city.” (John King, LEO)
Brother Wolves howl from the banks of the muddy Ohio River in Louisville, Kentucky. Their sound is an energetic blend of psychedelic soul music that creates a unique sonic experience that captivates the audience. Born many moons ago from the mind’s eye of two cousins, Wilfred E. Sieg III & Nathan Fessel, the duo scratched together the raw foundation of what would become Brother Wolves. Since it's inception, the pack has evolved into an eclectic quintet of local musicians and artists who create an electric genre bending sound with reckless abandon. The Brother Wolves experience is fronted with powerful vocals, haunting soul, and introspective lyrics by Wilfred E. Sieg III. On guitar and keys, Nathan Fessel and Josey Earl balance driving melodies and ambiance with soaring leads. Bassist Scott Harrett delivers the low end with rhythm & deep grooves. Newcomer Andy Cook draws from his past life experiences to add to the Wolves already eclectic sound by using his diverse stylings to drive the music to new heights.
They have been featured in several local festivals: Seven Sense Festival, 3.5 Sense Festival, PoorCastle, Fringe Fest, Mighty Kindness Festival, Alternafest, Lamarfest, & IndieFest. They've been broadcast on 91.9 WFPK and performed live on 100.9 WCHQ The Morning Jam. Their songs can also be found alongside other great area bands on: Louisville is for Lovers, River City Rumble, We Have a Bevin Problem, and Headcleaners Compilation Albums.
